The AI Office of the European Commission is preparing a small-scale pilot to test how European AI solution providers for manufacturing can be connected more effectively with European SMEs through the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network.
As part of this pilot, a virtual matchmaking event is planned for the 21st of May. It will bring together a limited number of selected EDIHs and EU AI solution providers whose solutions are particularly relevant for manufacturing SMEs. The aim is to better understand SME needs, present concrete AI solution offers, and facilitate a small number of follow-up deployments in the weeks afterwards.
We are particularly interested in hearing from EU AI solution providers offering practical, market-ready or near-market solutions for manufacturing-related use cases. Providers should be prepared to present a concrete solution offer and be open to engaging with EDIHs and SMEs from different regions across Europe.
Interested EU AI solution providers for manufacturing are invited to confirm their interest in participating in this pilot by contacting us using this link no later than 12 May. In their message, providers are kindly asked to include:
- a short description of the solution,
- the manufacturing use cases addressed, and
- why the solution is suitable for SMEs.
