Chose promise, chose due… As foreseen in the Communication "Boosting growth and cohesion in EU border regions", the Commission has just published a new study which maps the existing EU funded cross border cooperation initiatives in healthcare and shows interesting ways forward. The study provides a comprehensive mapping of projects and good practices across EU; identifies obstacles as well as future challenges for cross border cooperation in healthcare; it draws lessons from past experience and finally provides practical guidance to support interested stakeholders starting cooperation projects.

The study was carried out by the Austrian Public Health Institute Gesundheit Österreich Forschungs and Planungs GmbH, with funding from the Health Programme 2014-2020.
