On Thursday, 11 December 2025, the Border Focal Point Network hosted the 26th Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate – “Resilient Borders: How Cooperation Makes Regions Stronger.” This debate focused on how cross-border cooperation can strengthen resilience in EU border regions, particularly in the context of crisis preparedness, joint planning, and coordinated responses.
Drawing on experiences from the Resilient Borders Initiative and related Pilot Actions, the session highlighted practical examples of cooperation that improve preparedness and governance across borders.
