Are SMEs ready for a sustainable future? Insights from Generali and SDA Bocconi’s White Paper on the sustainable transition of SMEs

The fourth edition of the White Paper “Fostering Sustainability in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”, developed by SDA Bocconi School of Management’s Sustainability Lab and promoted by Assicurazioni Generali’s SME EnterPRIZE project, presents an ongoing state-of-the-art analysis of the sustainable transition of European SMEs. 

This edition focuses on climate resilience and risk management, extending the scope of analysis to include 10 European countries. The paper highlights how European SMEs approach sustainability, outlines the barriers they face, and provides a roadmap to foster the just and sustainable transition.
