Clarification on EU-USA Trade and Technology Council and Digital Trade Discussions
The individuals who participated in the signing of the trade agreement alongside the EU Commission President at the meeting with the US President are known for their involvement in previous trade agreement discussions. However, none of them were familiar with digital matters. The challenge lies in the interpretation of digital laws.
To clarify, it would be beneficial if the EU institutions specify who has necessary expertise and is currently responsible for negotiating digital trade matters.
