The 4th Call for Active and Healthy Ageing Reference Sites is now OPEN. All existing Reference Sites who wish to continue to be accredited along with new regions addressing a life-course approach to active and healthy ageing who wish to become a Reference Site are invited to apply. The application process for the 4th Call will comprises 2 Phases:

• Phase 1: completion of application detailing the region's health and care systems, the development and role of the health and care stakeholder alliance in the region, and how it meets the 6 criteria for an Active and Healthy Ageing Reference Sites. Phase 1 applications are to be submitted by 31 May 2022.
• Phase 2: self-assessment of the region's life-course approach to active and healthy ageing. Information and details on completing this will be issued in May 2022.
