Meet the speakers of the 18th Beyond Borders Breakfast Debate: Ricardo Ferreira 

Introducing our first confirmed speaker of the 18th Beyond Borders Breakfast Debate: Ricardo Ferreira, Planning and Programming Officer for the Border Focal Point (DG REGIO)! 

As the Planning and Programming Officer at the Border Focal Point (DG REGIO), Mr. Ferreira brings a wealth of experience to the debating table. Previously, he served as a Professor at the Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre from 1996 to 2001. 

Within DG REGIO, he coordinates the Border Focal Point, focusing on Cross-Border Cooperation. His main area of expertise lies in addressing legal barriers across borders, notably through initiatives such as b-solutions. Additionally, Mr. Ferreira is actively involved in developing and promoting knowledge around the impact of these obstacles on cross-border regions.
