A study led by the MOT, commissioned by the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, the Eurodistrict Strasbourg-Ortenau and the Banque des Territoires, examines the cross-border potential for the energy transition across the 112 communes of the Strasbourg-Ortenau area. The report identifies decarbonisation of transport, heat production and industry as key priorities, and highlights the role of citizen energy initiatives and industrial and territorial ecology. It recommends strengthening cooperation through the exchange of best practices and shared expertise. The report is available in French and German.

Une étude menée par la MOT, commanditée par l’Eurométropole de Strasbourg, l’Eurodistrict Strasbourg-Ortenau et la Banque des Territoires, analyse le potentiel transfrontalier de la transition énergétique dans les 112 communes du territoire Strasbourg-Ortenau. Le rapport identifie la décarbonation des transports, de la production de chaleur et de l’industrie comme priorités, et souligne l’importance des initiatives citoyennes et de l’écologie industrielle et territoriale. Eine von der MOT durchgeführte Studie, beauftragt von der Eurométropole Straßburg, dem Eurodistrict Strasbourg-Ortenau und der Banque des Territoires, untersucht das grenzüberschreitende Potenzial der Energiewende in den 112 Gemeinden des Gebiets Strasbourg-Ortenau. Der Bericht nennt die Dekarbonisierung von Verkehr, Wärmeerzeugung und Industrie als zentrale Prioritäten und betont die Bedeutung von Bürgerenergie sowie industrieller und territorialer Ökologie. Er empfiehlt, die Zusammenarbeit durch den Austausch bewährter Methoden und gemeinsames Fachwissen zu vertiefen. Der Bericht liegt in französischer und deutscher Sprache vor.
