Meet the speakers of the 16th Beyond Borders Breakfast Debate: Maciej Molak

Announcing the final speaker for the upcoming Beyond Borders Breakfast Debate, Maciej Molak, General Secretary at the FRDIS, Mendel University! Happening tomorrow, the 15th February 2024, this debate aligns with DG REGIO's latest report: 'Strengthening the Resilience of EU Border Regions.' As such, the debate will focus on disaster and crisis management in cross-border regions. 

Maciej Molak, formerly the head of the JS Interreg Programme Czechia-Poland, currently works as the General Secretary at the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies, Mendel University. With extensive experience in project evaluation, state aid coordination, and international project management, Maciej has made significant contributions to various initiatives. He holds a PhD in Public Economics from Masaryk University, Brno, and has completed a PhD student internship at Bergen University and BI Norwegian Business School, enhancing his expertise in public economics and international cooperation.
