Dear colleagues and partners,

C. Charatsis from EC/JRC and I have put together a session on Dual-Use risk assessment in the context of the upcoming ESARDA annual conference/Working Group on Export Controls.

We are glad that some particularly knowledgeable experts and practitioners from both sides of the Atlantic will share their insights about the shifting geopolitical context, the performance of existing tools, and the potential for moving forward.

The current critical constellation makes the discussion on DU technology controls, both extra bellum and in bello, perhaps more topical than ever.
