We are pleased to announce that Arola Urdangarin Ferreira, Director of the Euroregion Nouvelle-Aquitaine Euskadi Navarra, will join the panel at the 23rd edition of the “Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate”, taking place on 12 June 2025.
With a strong background in European project management and cross-border cooperation, Ms. Urdangarin brings first-hand experience from one of the EU’s most active Euroregions. Her work focuses on managing European funds, shaping subsidy strategies, and supporting the development of cross-border governance models that respond to the needs of local communities.
As Director of the EGTC Nouvelle-Aquitaine Euskadi Navarra, she plays a central role in coordinating cooperation between Spain and France, where legal and administrative challenges often demand innovative, collaborative solutions, exactly the kind of issues the BRIDGEforEU Regulation aims to address.
Ms. Urdangarin holds a degree in Political Science and a Master’s in European Affairs from Sciences Po Bordeaux. In addition to her institutional work, she has lectured at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne and the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour, further contributing to the academic and practical understanding of cross-border governance. She speaks Spanish, Basque, French, and English.
Join us to hear her perspective on what the BRIDGEforEU Regulation could mean for Euroregions and the concrete realities of cross-border cooperation.
