The study treats with the digitalization of public administration in Denmark since 2015 and its consequences for cross-border commuters on the labor market in the German-Danish border region. Digital treatment shows in particular technical limits which do not allow to find "specific solutions" needed in a cross-border context. The Region Sønderjylland-Schleswig wants to make the problems of commuters heard. The study explains the system of digital management and communication between citizens, authorities and businesses. It then shows typical problems and barriers for commuters and their impact in a cross-border context.
