On 8 October, within the Apply AI Strategy, the European Commission has created a new governance system - the Apply AI Alliance - as the coordination forum for stakeholders and policymakers on AI policy, bringing together AI providers, industry leaders, academia, and the public sector to ensure policy actions are grounded in real-world needs.
The Alliance serves as the central point of contact through which the AI community can stay updated on the latest Commission AI News and share opinions, as well as the gateway to participate in the Apply AI Strategy governance structure and shape AI policy for your sector.
The AI Observatory, established under the Apply AI Strategy, will also support the organisation of sectoral discussions. It will be used for political analysis and decision-making, but also to inform the AI community and the broader public about recent developments in the field.
