Today, a historic State of the Union address was delivered by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to Members of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

 

This year’s speech gave the spotlight to Ukrainian men and women who are standing up to Russian aggression, the energy crisis, fighting for our democracies and much more.

 

“We will bring Ukraine into our European free roaming area,” she mentioned at one point.
