Call for experts: Help define how Europe should assess digital health technologies

As a European project dedicated to advancing the adoption of Digital Health Technologies (DHTs) across the continent, ASSESS DHT has issued a call for experts to contribute to the development of assessment frameworks. With a focus on enhancing trustworthiness and effectiveness, the project seeks to engage stakeholders from various sectors to ensure that the methodologies devised are fit for purpose and address the evolving needs of the healthcare landscape.

Expert Group Invitations:

Four expert groups are planned: digital health developers/industry, policy makers & regulators, clinical experts, and patients/citizens. Each group will play a pivotal role in informing the project's activities, spanning from consolidating existing knowledge to testing and validation of assessment approaches.

Desired Expert Profiles:

The project emphasizes the importance of expertise from diverse perspectives. Digital health developers/industry professionals are sought for their insights into technology innovation and market dynamics. Policy makers & regulators' input is crucial in establishing regulatory frameworks. Clinical experts' practical knowledge is invaluable for integrating DHTs into care pathways, while patients/citizens' involvement ensures user-centeredness and inclusivity.

How to Contribute:

Experts will have various opportunities to contribute, including participation in online events, providing feedback on documents, and engaging in interviews. We aim to accommodate the availability of experts while ensuring their contributions are adequately compensated.
