Publication of a scientific article on the use of Artificial Intelligence technologies in the public sector of the EU. The publication provides an overview of the current potential use for AI technologies and provides examples to which extent current AI is already deployed for these purposes. In doing so, the article provides an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of using AI technologies for these governance functions. 

I hope the article would serve as a useful baseline for future research on AI in public services and may inspire public administrations in understanding what AI may be used for!
