In the face of crisis, humanity’s resilience shines through. Last July, our IT Team at Finance in Motion learned of an opportunity from Giulia Montalto to make a difference by sending pre-owned hardware to Ukraine. It was a challenging process, requiring collaboration across teams.
After nearly a year, we successfully completed this journey. 🙌 Our pride lies not only in the collaborative effort but also in our commitment to those in need. But this donation isn’t just about new facilities; it’s about rebuilding destroyed infrastructure and supporting remote provisioning for healthcare workers, teachers, students, and government institutions.
Considering Ukraine’s threat to hardware supply chains due to the war, our achievement is significant:
📱 Over 80 devices received
🌍 Saved 30 metric tons of CO₂ emissions (equivalent to 7 gasoline-powered cars’ annual emissions)
💰 Saved €100,000 in costs
I am happy that our Team remains committed to closing the digital divide.
Thanks to Ivan Hud and the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, the European Commission, and the Slovak Republic’s Crisis Management for the collaboration.
