Survey on cross-border public transport

Cross-border areas need integrated public transport services. ESPON good practice examples illustrate how a variety of cross-border transport service provisions can support each other. For example, the Elbe-Labe region in the Czech-German border area benefits from combined bus, train and ferry lines that are further streamlined through a shared ticketing service (https://www.espon.eu/sites/default/files/attachments/ESPON%20CPS%2008%20Scientific%20Report%20Annex%20IX%20Elbe-Labe.pdf).

These services are the product of identifying and tackling challenges in border areas. Help usto identify key obstacles and find solutions for cross-border public transportin your region and support cross-border integration across Europe.
