The ESPON Seminar on “Ensuring quality services for all people and places” is an event dedicated to addressing topical policy debates surrounding service delivery in Europe’s regions. In collaboration with the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this seminar aims to explore the ways service delivery can be efficiently managed in lagging regions and regions which face particular development challenges (for instance, mountains and coastal areas, islands and sparsely populated areas). How to adapt infrastructure and services to local needs in these types of territories?
