The purpose of the conference is to present good practices in the management of the modern city in the context of climate change as well as the European Union's and United Nations' obligations in climate protection and in limiting the consumption of energy. 

The conference is organised by Jan Olbrycht MEP, Think Silesia, and co-organised by the Polish Association of Cities and the Society of Polish Urbanists.

Several representatives from the Urban Agenda Partnerships (Energy TransitionSustainable Use of Land and Nature-based Solutions, Urban Mobility, Urban Poverty) will be present at the conference and will present the state of play of their work.
