The 2nd meeting of the Partnership on Circular Economy took place on 25th - 26th of April in Brussels

On 25th and 26th of April 2017, the 2nd meeting of the Partnership on Circular Economy was held in Brussels. The aim of the meeting was to look closer at two out of four themes of the Partnership, namely: Circular business enablers and drivers (including following topics: Circular Public Procurement, Eco-design, Industrial symbiosis & Innovative business models – sharing economy); and Governance.

The themes and topics were discussed in breakout sessions and later presented in a plenary, allowing for feedback from other Partnership members. It was agreed to continue working on both of the above mentioned themes.

The next meeting of the Partnership will take place on 6th and 7th of June in Helsinki (linked to the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF), 5th – 6th of June). The focus of the upcoming meeting will be on Circular consumption. Moreover, the themes discussed during the 2nd meeting of the Partnership will be further elaborated.
