The Urban Partnership for Air Quality has just launched a call for examples of successful (best practices) and unsuccessful air quality measures. The call is open to all interested national, regional and city authorities from the European Union. The general objective of the call is to support the implementation of the Ambient Air Quality Directive by providing knowledge of Air Quality measures.

The specific objective is twofold:

  1. to give visibility to national, regional and local administrations having implemented air quality measures in their territory;
  2. to encourage the dissemination of knowledge on relevant air quality measures and facilitate comparative analysis on their relative effectiveness;
  3. to foster the use of state-of-the-art methodologies, tools and data for air quality planning.

After a quality check, the collected practices will be published on the online European Catalogue of Air Quality Measures managed by the EU Joint Research Centre. The Catalogue is intended for officials responsible for air quality assessment, planning and management on the national, regional and local level.

If you wish to have your air quality measures published in the online European Catalogue of Air Quality Measures, please:

The call for Air Quality Measures will remain open until November 15th, 2018. This initiative is carried out in the framework of the Partneship's Action Plan.
