Youth Start-Up Competition (YSC) is a flagship initiative within European SME Week. This year competition aimed to spotlight and support young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 25 who are developing bold, creative start-up ideas to help shape a more sustainable, inclusive and competitive Europe.

A distinguished jury evaluated all submissions and shortlisted the top three finalists. The finalists were invited to present their ideas at the SME Assembly 2025, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from November 10 to 12, 2025.
During a dedicated YSC session at the Assembly, the finalists pitched their start-up concepts live to both the jury and the audience. A combination of jury and audience votes determined the winner, announced live on stage.
The winner now will take their project to the 2026 European Innovation Council Summit in Brussels, where they will gain greater visibility and connect with Europe’s leaders in innovation and healthcare.
