  • 18:00 - 20:00: Governing the Rise of Artificial Intelligence: publication of the AI Civic Debate Report

      • Nicolas Miailhe, President of The Future Society
    • Panel discussion on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence

The Future Society coordinated an unprecedented 7-month civic consultation open to the public, held on the pioneering collective intelligence platform Assembl, to better understand the rise, dynamics and consequences of AI (www.aicivicdebate.org). By assembling a global and diverse community of over 2,000 participants (experts, practitioners, policy-makers and citizens) with over 3,300 contributions in five languages, 700 active writers and 21 events, we garnered novel perspectives on the governance of AI. Our aim is to translate these key insights into policy recommendations around the world and collectively shape our AI future.

We would be thrilled to have you join us at the European Parliament, where we will bring together our community of policy-makers, AI experts and civil society representatives. This event is organized in partnership with the Member of the European Parliament, Marietje Schaake.

It is free and open to all, so please invite your network! You can reserve a spot for yourself and a colleague by clicking here.
