Description

The current innovative use of deep learning models has created possibilities for predicting univariate and multivariate time series data using AI and nonlinear models. The models perform exceptionally well on e-commerce and sales data. Once the model is trained it can predict new datasets effectively, a feature called ‘transfer learning’ in Artificial Intelligence. The Café session will demonstrate the transfer learning ability of N-Beats model for Time Series datasets.

Speaker´s Short Bio

Farah Mehboob, is a CEO of insight analytics company, Valider. She has extensive knowledge on using time series datasets to optimize tech solutions. Farah has advised multiple tech start-ups on operational improvement, recruitment optimization and supply chain using deep learning methods for time series analysis.

Farah teaches Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence as Visiting Faculty of Computer Science, at SMCS, IBA in Karachi Pakistan. 

Her interest lies in developing relevant AI skills to reduce industry academia gap. She is founding member of ASPIRE, an entrepreneurship support network in Pakistan.
