TWG-led session CAPS: Evolving AI & Climate Adaptation Platforms - Preparing for What’s Next (Event co-organised by MIP4Adapt and the Climate Adaptation Platforms Thematic Working Group)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing how people discover and use climate adaptation information. As AI tools become more widely used, climate adaptation platforms need to consider how they can make the most of these technologies while continuing to provide reliable, trusted and up-to-date information.  

Co-organised by the Climate Adaptation Platforms Thematic Working Group (a core space within the EU Mission Adaptation Community), this event is the first in a new webinar series exploring the future of AI and climate adaptation platforms. The session includes short presentations from established platforms, including Climate-ADAPT, PANORAMA and weADAPT, and dedicated breakout rooms. Participants will collaboratively map technical AI challenges and opportunities that will shape the long-term vision for the community through 2027.
