This space provides a structured environment for direct engagement and exchange between private sector organisations, Regional and Local Authorities (RLAs), research and innovation actors and the wider Mission Community. It supports the sharing of knowledge, solutions, and expertise to advance climate adaptation across Europe while enhancing the visibility of private-sector contributions within the EU Mission on Adaptation.
Innovation-sharing events
MIP4Adapt will organise dedicated innovation-sharing events which will showcase innovative adaptation practices, market‑ready solutions, capabilities, and financing opportunities from private‑sector organisations that could be of interest and use for RLAs, enhancing the visibility of private‑sector adaptation efforts and results. These events will also provide a space for RLAs to share their adaptation needs, helping bridge the gap between regional challenges and available solutions.
What can private sector organisations share in this space?
Private sector organisations are invited to:
- Post solutions, technologies, services, and products that can support RLAs in advancing adaptation action
- Learn from local and regional adaptation needs, challenges, best practices, and emerging innovations from posts by other Community members
- Respond to posts and comments to engage directly with RLAs and other Community members to exchange knowledge, share practical experience, and identify collaboration opportunities
- Showcase case studies, tools, and innovative approaches, and share news, updates, and relevant events
- Highlight information about their organisation and key areas of climate adaptation expertise
Posts should focus on presenting practical solutions and capabilities that can support RLAs and other Community members. Organisations may include links to their websites for further information. Direct commercial solicitation, pricing information, and procurement offers are not permitted.
