Authored by Jean Ryan and Anders Wretstrand from the Department of Technology and Society, Lund University and the Swedish Knowledge Centre for Public Transport, the aim of this study is to investigate the issues at play with respect to improving the coherence of the cross-border public transport system in the the Greater Copenhagen Region, in relation to ticketing and public transport information in particular.
Greater Copenhagen is often cited as a good example of cross-border cooperation. Shared historical contexts and socio-political willingness have meant that considerable resources have been invested into the development of infrastructure in this region.
