A closer relation between research and policy making is essential to ensure evidence-based impactful policies. This is why one of the goals of the Border Focal Point is to promote research in the field of border obstacles, as a special element of wider border studies. 

To this aim, we are organising a special session at the Annual Conference of the Regional Studies Association (#RSA23) titled "Overcome border obstacles to prevent border effect". 

Researchers are invited to submit abstract proposals until 28/2/2023.
