-

The first SHIFT-HUB (https://shift-hub.eu/) Open Innovation workshop has the objective to allow participants share ideas and express their interest to participate to emerging consortia on 2 Horizon Europe calls:

What do we offer ?

The SHIFT-HUB consortium has the mission to help smart health startups to:

  • become visible in the wider European community, present their solutions and expertise and share their ideas to answer the requirements of the calls for applications.
  • shape research, development and innovation project ideas that will be individually promoted for access to funding opportunities.
  • identify partners with complementary competences and solutions across Europe and collaborate to establish consortia and apply for public funding.
  • shape the project concepts and prepare their proposals to apply to the calls for applications.
  • review their applications and make sure that the requirements and quality standards of the Horizon European program are fully respected.

Why should you participate ?

If you are interested to apply for European funding to support the implementation of your R&D and innovation projects in collaboration with European partners, the SHIFT-HUB Open Innovation workshop offers you the opportunity to:

  • present your organisation and explain your interests, collaboration offer and positioning with respect to the 2 targeted Horizon Europe call topics.
  • promote the solutions you develop, your research and innovation activities, and express your needs.
  • identify end users offering you experimentation opportunities to test your solutions in real settings.
  • meet technology or business partners and service providers across Europe and, if possible, have access to support for tailored matchmaking.

The SHIFT-HUB project in a nutshell

SHIFT-HUB aims to establish a pan-European Smart Health Innovation Hub bringing together a rich network of multidisciplinary stakeholders, with the mission to facilitate the development, ensure the promotion and foster the uptake of Smart Health technologies and services. SHIFT-HUB will develop and test with the community a complete service offer, integrating networking and matchmaking, identification of partners and support for procurement, guidance for access to funding, research infrastructures and scientific expertise.

SHIFT-HUB’s global service offer relies on:

2) an approach based open innovation to foster a collaborative, demand-driven and SME-inclusive development and uptake of Smart Health solutions [in a ecosystem of multidisciplinary stakeholders].

3) a technical platform pilot including a Health Data Hub, a Smart Health Apps Repository and an on-line Marketplace to support the experimental development based on a secure and interoperable access to data and showcase a portfolio of solutions developed by community members.
