Request for Contact with German Speaking Project Partners Experienced in EDC

My name is Catherine Grünewald and I am a member of the VET expert team of one of the National Agencies in Germany. I am currently looking for best-practice examples and projects that are already using EDC, specifically projects that create digital credentials with the EDC Builder and Issuer and issue them using eSeals. Examples from Germany and Austria are of particular interest to us.

I would be very grateful for any brief pointers you could share.

Dear Catherine, at Web2Learn, a digital education company, we collaborate with German universities (among other nationalities) by issuing European Digital Credentials for them (namely for the University of Hamburg). More precisely, in our BrevApp, we have produced an autonomous system that can be connected to an LMS or SIS, to issue verifiable credentials, with all the security checks and functionalities as in EDCI.

We would be happy to run a demo of the system (TRL 8), which has been implemented and successfuly tried out by 8 universities in the EU so far.

Below some info about BrevApp

We have developed a system, BREVapp, that issues verifiable and trustworthy digital credentials according to the European Digital Credentials for Learning Infrastructure. It has already been successfullytested with 8 universities and 700+ students and staff.

BREVapp enables education and training providers, institutions, and projects that wish to modernize the way they issue, standardize and manage European Digital credentials. These can be directly added to the Europass Wallet, ensuring interoperability, transparency, portability and long-term recognition across Europe.
