[TWG Output] Report - Roundtable summary document on monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) of climate adaptation projects

This report was developed by the Thematic Working Group (TWG) on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). 

On 13 November 2024, the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Thematic Working Group convened a roundtable discussion among participants representing various Mission-funded climate adaptation projects across Europe. The session focused on the  following topics:
1. Establishing monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks for Mission projects
2. Navigating key challenges in MEL for Mission projects
3. Understanding Mission project impact on climate adaptation: A standard MEL approach?

Discussions on these topics provided insights on approaches for MEL frameworks, shared challenges, and the feasibility of a standardised MEL framework that could unify the reporting across a diverse set of projects on their contribution to the Mission's climate adaptation objectives.
