Connect University celebrating the European Cybersecurity Month

This year Connect University organised two sessions to celebrate the European Cybersecurity Month with the aim to help the participants understand the current cyber security threats and better secure themselves.

During the "Blade Runner World is here and gone" Chema Alonso shared some fascinating hacking insights, together with the security risks that are coming with the new technologies such as AI, Cognitive Services, Tech Intensity, OAuth Tokens.

Marie Moe presented the latest findings from the pacemaker hacking research project, in particular how it is possible to perform a Man-in-the-Middle attack between the pacemaker device and the corresponding backend server with the help of a fake mobile base station, giving access to the patient’s medical data.
