In today's digital age, online transactions on various platforms have become an integral part of our daily lives. The EC is rolling out a prototype of the EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI), as proposed in the European Digital Identity Regulation, to allow citizens and businesses to share identity information securely and conveniently.

See how the prototype wallet, procured under the Digital Europe Programme, will be tested in pilots that cover various sectors, such as healthcare, financial services, education and transport. Each pilot will be making use of components of the reference implementation developed by the European Commission and contribute to further enhance its security, user-friendliness and interoperability.
