In February 2021, the Border Focal Point launched an online morning briefing series titled ‘Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debates’. The events are intended to exchange best practices and insights on ways to support cross-border regions in finding solutions to their respective problems and shed light on how they can benefit from their specific resources and unleash their potential. Moderated Q&As at the end of each session provide participants with the opportunity to take part, raise new questions and add to the discussion.

The invited speakers and experts have had fruitful discussions on diverse topics related to cross-border cooperation, namely on public service cooperation during the pandemic, the European Green Deal, cross-border cities and commuters, public transport and education amongst others.
