Quantifying the contribution of 5G to sustainability

-

5G, the fifth generation of wireless technology, has the potential to change our world in endless positive ways, unlocking a greener and digital future for us all. The session discussed the latest estimates of the net environmental impact of 5G and best ways to deploy and use 5G based applications and services in order to accelerate climate actions and transition to circular economy. From improved energy efficiency to enabling a distance less society, 5G opens up new opportunities – watch the recording and join us in discovering how we can use this technology to reach our sustainability (i.e. environmental, social and economic) goals.
